Van Raam rolled out an update for the e-bike app in early December 2024. Unfortunately, this update is not functioning properly. Both users with a Silent Smart display and those with an older version are experiencing issues. We are working diligently on a solution.

Updated e-bike app

The recent update of the e-bike app in December 2024 serves as the starting point for a user-friendly and reliable app. We aim to continually expand the Van Raam e-bike app with multiple features. Unfortunately, several app users have encountered problems since the update. We actively use feedback from app users to further develop the app. This takes time, but our goal is to create an app that you truly enjoy. We hope to further optimize the app by spring 2025.

E-bike app with older display versions 

Bikes from 2016, 2017, and 2018, equipped with an older version of the display, currently cannot connect to the new e-bike app. Unfortunately, we do not have a solution available at this time. We deeply regret this and are working hard on a solution. As soon as a solution is available, we will inform you immediately via our website.

Fewer features in the updated e-bike app

We have also noticed that users sometimes encountered issues with the dashboard and route usage in the previous version of our app. Because we find an optimally functioning app extremely important, we have decided to temporarily remove the route and display features from the app. This allows us to develop a new app from a stable foundation that better meets the needs and experiences of our users.

New update early next year

In the spring of 2025, we hope to implement the first improvements to the app. In the meantime, you can use alternative solutions. The free apps Strava or Relive offer excellent options for tracking your routes. Additionally, you might consider placing an odometer on your bike.
