Good news! The Van Raam e-bike app has received an update. With this update, you can once again view important information about your bike. Want to know how far you've cycled, how fast you were going, or how much battery you have left? You can find all this information in the app! Additionally, you can adjust the pedal assistance of your bike through the app.
The staff of bicycle manufacturer Van Raam bid a festive farewell to directors Marjolein Boezel and Ronald Ruesink last December 2024. After decades of dedication to the growth and innovation of Van Raam, they officially handed over the reins to their successors as of January 1, 2025. Marjolein and Ronald have now chosen to focus on family and leisure, but remain connected to the company as shareholders, ambassadors, and advisors.
An adult, who is no longer able to ride on a regular two-wheel bike is looking for an appropriate and safe alternative. Van Raam rolled out an update for the e-bike app in early November 2024. Unfortunately, this update is not functioning properly. Both users with a Silent Smart display and those with an older version are experiencing issues. We are working diligently on a solution.
3FM Serious Request is an annual charity initiative by a major Dutch radio station, raising funds for important causes. On December 18, 2024, the Van Raam team cycled over 80 kilometers with colleagues, traveling from Varsseveld to the Glass House in Zwolle. With this effort, we aimed to raise as much money as possible for the Metakids Foundation during Serious Request.

As of October 15, 2024, Van Raam has implemented a significant name change. Van Raam Reha Bikes B.V. will now be known as Van Raam Mobility B.V. This rebranding underscores Van Raam's ambition to make mobility accessible to a broader, international audience while continuing its commitment to innovative solutions for inclusive cycling mobility.
At the 75th jubilee celebration of the National Association de Zonnebloem on September 4, 2024, the Dutch King Willem-Alexander brought smiles to faces. Together with participant Ida, he took a joyful ride on the Zonnebloem bike. "I can't help it," the king remarked about his swift overtaking maneuvers with the wheelchair bike.
