For each bicycle and additional accessories there is a price list available on this website. All amounts are VAT excluded. The VAT rate is different for each country/state, and can also be subject to reduction due to the medical nature of the bikes.

A Van Raam bike is not a default bike. We offer a mobility solution to people in situations that are not the most common. Furthermore, we do not produce any bikes to stock. Each bike is individually made in our factory in Varsseveld. This way a bike can be completely designed to suit the individual needs of the bike user. At Van Raam we also focus on the quality of our bikes. We have multiple certifications for this, and we have won various prizes for the outstanding quality of our bikes and production process.

The prices on our price list are VAT exclusive. The VAT rates can differ per country. In some cases, a reduced VAT rate can be applicable to some bicycles or spare parts. A local dealer or tax office should be able to provide more information.

At Van Raam it is not possible to purchase a second hand bike. If you want to purchase a Van Raam bike we refer you to one of our dealers. At some dealers, it is possible to buy a second hand Van Raam bike. Just as they sometimes also offer trade-ins or buybacks. You can check this with a local dealer in your area.

It is possible to rent Van Raam bikes at some bicycle shops, or bike rental stations. In our dealer locator you're also able to find rental locations by using the corresponding filter. Sometimes, other dealers are also willing to rent out bikes. You can find and contact a dealer in your area on our dealer page.

Various Van Raam dealers offer the possibility to lease a bike instead of purchasing it. Under a lease agreement you pay a monthly fee that allows you to use the bike. This monthly fee often includes maintenance, repairs, insurance, or road side assistance. You can read more about this in our article 'Lease a Van Raam special needs bike' .

Eligibility for compensation for the purchase of an adapted bicycle is highly dependent on the (local) govenrmental policies that are in place. In The Netherlands it is sometimes possible to receive help under the WMO legislation. If you want to know what are the possibilities in your country, you can ask a local governmental institution. A dealer in your area can often also inform you about possibilities or point you in the right directions. You can find a dealer in your area on our dealer page.

Whether a bike is being covered under health care insurance, is highly dependent on your insurance. In some countries, and with some insurances you might be eligible for compensation. To find out if this is the case you can contact your health care insurance.

The acquisition of a Van Raam bike can be done in different ways. You may be eligible for reimbursement, for example through the Social Support Act (WMO). Read more about this in the article 'Reimbursement for adapted bikes'.

You can also finance the purchase of a Van Raam bike yourself. Typically, the following steps are involved:

You can try out any type of bike you like at a verified Van Raam dealer in your area. Check the list of dealers for your nearest dealer, ask in advance when it is open and if the requested bicycle is in stock. We also bring many models to fairs and there is usually an opportunity to try out a bike. Please contact us to determine the easiest solution that works for you.

Our showroom is open on appointment only. Have a look at our opening hours on our contact page. You can make an appointment to visit our showroom. The showroom is located in Varsseveld, The Netherlands. There is also an experience centre in Treuchtlingen, southern Germany. In our experience centre you can also make a test ride. It is often also possible to make a test ride on a Van Raam bike at a dealer in your area. You can find a dealer on our dealer page.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay a visit to the Van Raam showroom without an appointment. Our advisers take the time to help everyone by assessing their individual situation. Therefore you will need to schedule your visit in advance and book an appointment. This way, our advisers can help everyone in the best possible way.

From our experience, a standard appointment offers plenty of time to make a proper test ride, find the bike that suits you best, and draft up an offer together with our adviser.

At most Van Raam dealers it is possible to make a test ride on the bikes that they have available in their showroom. You can find a dealer in your area to discuss the possiblities.

Van Raam has different types of dealers that sell Van Raam bicycles:

1. A premium dealer has various Van Raam bicycles in the showroom, has product knowledge, a specialist is present, and there is a workshop.

2. The Van Raam dealer has a few best-selling Van Raam bicycles as demo models. The dealer has a lot of knowledge about Van Raam products and has a workshop and skills to perform repairs on Van Raam bicycles.

3. The Van Raam Service Partner has a workshop and the skills to order and maintain Van Raam bicycles.

4. A Rehabilitation Specialist is a dealer or organization that rents or sells aids. They have knowledge about Van Raam bicycles and can, whether or not in collaboration with a bicycle specialist, perform maintenance.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to order a bike directly from Van Raam. You can purchase a Van Raam bike from one of our dealers. There are various different dealers in multiple locations. Van Raam bikes or spare parts can solely be purchased from one of our dealers. Van Raam as a manufacturer does not sell these directly to consumers. We have multiple dealers or points of sale.
