Customer experience Easy Rider electric tricycle – Hartmut
Hartmut and his wife have both been cycling on the electric tricycle bike Easy Rider from Van Raam for a few years now. In 2023, he traded in his Easy Rider 2 for an Easy Rider 3 with pedal assistance and mountain gearing. He shares his experience and the excellent service from his dealer.

"Since a few years, I have been cycling together with my wife on an electric tricycle bike. With the Easy Rider 2, I have been able to enjoy many beautiful bike rides in the Ore Mountains and during vacations in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Brandenburg. Due to the slopes in the Ore Mountains, the desire for more electric assistance arose. The technical advancements of Van Raam with the Easy Rider 3 and the special mountain support came in handy. In the area where I live, the Ore Mountains, roads and paths with slopes of 10 to 15% are common."
Purchase of the Easy Rider 3
"On 31-08-2023, the time had come, and I could trade in my Easy Rider 2 for the new Easy Rider 3 electric tricycle bike with foot fixation, mirror, stick holder, and anti-tip wheels. This was preceded by two test rides with different bike specifications at Van Raam dealer Reha Rad Centrum Fraureuth. During this process, I was advised and supported in a professional and understanding manner by Mr. and Mrs. Krampitz. They really took their time; the Krampitz family is only satisfied when the customer is too."
The Easy Rider 3 rides wonderfully, whether you're cycling on slopes, sandy paths, paved roads, or bumpy forest trails.

"On Sunday, 10-09-2023, I planned to take my new bike for a first longer test ride in the Preßnitztal before we went on vacation. Unfortunately, the chain of my electric tricycle bike came off, and the chain guard and protective hoses were damaged. My attempts to fix the chain failed, making the day seem lost.
I sent photos of the problem to Mr. Krampitz and asked for help. Shortly after, he called back and determined that the repair was only possible in the workshop. However, he was going on vacation for two weeks the next day, which meant our vacation would have to proceed without the bike."
"I thought that my old Easy Rider 2 might still be at the Reha Rad Centrum and called Mr. Krampitz again. Later that afternoon, I arrived at the Reha Rad Centrum, where he was already waiting with the Easy Rider 2. However, this bike still needed the eccentric crank with footrests and the right pedals to be converted. After a brief discussion, Mr. Krampitz replaced the chain guard and protective hoses of my new Easy Rider 3 in the workshop.
After a short test ride, Mr. Krampitz and I expertly loaded the repaired bike onto the trailer, now ready for our vacation. We said goodbye, wished each other a happy holiday, and I drove home with a feeling of deep gratitude."
On vacation with the electric tricycle bike
"Our vacation week in Mecklenburg has already come to an end. We had amazing experiences and added approximately 300 km to the bike's odometer. The Easy Rider 3 rides wonderfully, whether you're cycling on slopes, sandy paths, paved roads, or bumpy forest trails.
