Shoulder problems are very annoying and can have various causes. For example, think of rheumatism, prostheses, painful joints, artificial joints or even having to miss a body part. However, this does not always mean that cycling is not possible anymore. Van Raam has various bicycles in the product range with which cycling is often possible despite the shoulder problems.
In the beginning of 2019, Van Raam has moved to the new bicycle factory in Varsseveld. From the beginning, it was clear that the new factory had to have a sustainable climate system. With various parties, Van Raam has designed a sustainable factory. Now, the climate system is fully in use.

Every year, on April 11th, people pay extra attention to Parkinson's disease during World Parkinson's Day. April 11th is the birthday of James Parkinson, he discovered this brain disorder in 1817. Parkinson's disease is a brain disease. The symptoms of Parkinson's disease are different for each patient, but in general the most common symptoms are: trembling, stiffness, fatigue, slower movement, difficulty in moving and talking. These symptoms make it increasingly difficult for patients to stay mobile and independent. In addition to our new, modern factory and showroom with Van Raam bicycles in Varsseveld (the Netherlands), we have now also opened a Van Raam showroom / experience center in Germany. From March the 4th, 2019, it is possible to make an appointment at 'Van Raam Beratungszentrum Deutschland-Süd', the German Van Raam showroom in Treuchtlingen, in the South of Germany. Here it is possible to take a test ride free of charge on a Van Raam bicycle and to get advice about an adapted Van Raam bicycle.

The last weeks few weeks were all about Christmas, New Year’s Eve and the beginning of 2019. Despite this, our employees were also finishing the new Van Raam factory. Meanwhile, the first official working week after the holidays is almost over and we look back on a week of finishing things up but also starting new things.
