In Vinkel (Noord-Brabant, a province in the Netherlands) it is possible to rent a duo trike free of charge. A while ago, some active people in Vinkel founded the working group Duofiets (duo bike). They have been able to purchase a duo trike and from 1 April 2021 it is possible to cycle together with a volunteer / cycling buddy.

Residential care centre for the elderly Careaz J.W. Andriessen has received a Van Raam VeloPlus wheelchair bike at the end of February 2021. They were able to purchase this wheelchair bike through the program 'Waardigheid en Trots' (Dignity and Pride) of the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. Foundation raises money to let everyone cycle
Maria Romp and Freerk de Boer started the foundation ‘Onbeperkt op de Fiets’ (red. Riding a bike without limits). They want to let everyone cycle in the northern Netherlands.
