User experience Easy Sport recumbent trike – Sipke de Jonge
My name is Sipke de Jonge and I live in Emmen. After more than 4 years ‘fighting’ for a tricycle I finally got it done. Now I own an Easy Sport recumbent bike.
Reason to purchase an Easy Sport recumbent tricycle
I’ve had surgery on my neck. Everything seemed to be fine until I suddenly got a lot of pain. After a while I got a warm feeling in my left leg and so it went further to the right side, which eventually resulted in paralysis. Because of an emergency surgery and quick action I was helped in time and it didn’t become a permanent paralysis. After the operation I drove around with a mobility scooter, but that didn’t give me the movement I needed. Then I opted for an Easy Rider tricycle, but because my shoulders were bothering me I preferred the Easy Sport recumbent tricycle. Fortunately, it was granted to me and now I cycle around on an Easy Sport recumbent tricycle with pedal assistance.
A free feeling
I’m very happy with my bike. I like to cycle fast, which is easy with the Easy Sport recumbent tricycle with pedal assistance, sometimes I cycle around 35 kilometers per hour. As you can read: if you want something really badly, you can probably make it happen, even if it can take a while! If I still would’ve used the mobility scooter, I wouldn’t be who I am now. I feel free now and I feel the wind through my short hair. It would also be nice to have a cart for the bike, so I can take my dog DJ along for bike rides.
