In which country is it better to organize an international bicycle festival than in the Netherlands? In the country where there are more bicycles than people and where special cycle highways have been built for cyclists. That's why, 14, 15 and 16 June, the International Cargo Bike Festival (ICBF) took place in Groningen and Van Raam was of course present with its (newest) transport bikes / cargo bikes.
In the weekend of May 24th to May 26th, the International Dealer Days 2019 took place at Van Raam. In total, 19 dealers from the countries Germany, Sweden, Norway, Italy, England, Scotland and Austria attended the Dealer Days and arrived at the new Van Raam factory in Varsseveld at May 24th.

Every year, on April 11th, people pay extra attention to Parkinson's disease during World Parkinson's Day. April 11th is the birthday of James Parkinson, he discovered this brain disorder in 1817. Parkinson's disease is a brain disease. The symptoms of Parkinson's disease are different for each patient, but in general the most common symptoms are: trembling, stiffness, fatigue, slower movement, difficulty in moving and talking. These symptoms make it increasingly difficult for patients to stay mobile and independent. In addition to our new, modern factory and showroom with Van Raam bicycles in Varsseveld (the Netherlands), we have now also opened a Van Raam showroom / experience center in Germany. From March the 4th, 2019, it is possible to make an appointment at 'Van Raam Beratungszentrum Deutschland-Süd', the German Van Raam showroom in Treuchtlingen, in the South of Germany. Here it is possible to take a test ride free of charge on a Van Raam bicycle and to get advice about an adapted Van Raam bicycle.
