With an adaptive bicycle participating in traffic for the first time, is for many people an exciting moment. Cycling on a tricycle can feel uncomfortable at first. Also, some people fear that road users will not think of them when they are on an adaptive bicycle. But is this fear correct? And wat if you are afraid to cycle? What is the solution for that problem? New Van Raam E-Bike app

From 1-11-2018 a new Van Raam E-Bike app is available. The Van Raam E-Bike (bicycle) app is a free smartphone app that you can use while cycling on your electric Van Raam bike. This app can be used as a luxurious bike computer for all Van Raam bicycles with pedal assistance. Furthermore, the app includes other additional features such as an SOS function and a function which allows you to adjust the pedal assistance while cycling.

Wheelchair bicycle taxi service in Finland

Jimmy Gustafson has a wheelchair taxi service in the town of Porvoo, Finland. With the Van Raam VeloPlus wheelchair transport bike they cycle 5 days a week from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. and they transport 4 to 8 people on a day, these are mainly elderly people.

As a producer of special needs bicycles, all Van Raam bicycles are produced in our own factory in Varsseveld. One of the advantages of this is that we can develop the bike completely to the customer's wishes. Every Van Raam bicycle can be equipped with a lot of options to make the bike suitable.
