Limitless Eleven Cities Tour by special needs bike
The Eleven Cities Tour is the famous natural ice long-distance speed skating race through eleven Frisian towns in the Netherlands. In the Limitless Eleven Cities Tour (Dutch: Onbeperkte Elfstedentocht), participants are allowed to cover the same 213-kilometre route - or part of it - on foot, by bicycle or by any other means of transport in five days.
The majority of the participants took part in the tour with a special needs bike from Van Raam. Foundation De Zonnebloem provided various 'Zonnebloem bicycles' during the tour. These wheelchair bicycles and side-by-side tandems from Van Raam were gratefully used.
Van Raam has various special needs bikes that are suitable for people with disabilities or for people who can no longer or no longer want to ride a regular bike with two wheels.
