The unique riding characteristics of the Van Raam Kivo Plus
The Kivo Plus three-wheel tandem allow a child to sit in front and the parent or accompanying person to sit behind. Take a look at the 5 unique riding characteristics this three-wheel tandem has.
1. Stable with 2 rear wheels
The Kivo Plus is a tandem with 1 wheel in the front and 2 wheels in the back. This makes the bike very stable. Getting on the bike is easy because the two wheels in the back prevent the bike from falling over. In addition, the bicycle cannot roll away while getting on the bike as soon as the parking brake is applied.
2. Choose whether the child cycles along
The Kivo Plus has a switchable freewheel hub as standard. With this switchable hub, it is possible to adjust if and how the child pedals along. You can choose from 3 different modes:
The child can pedal along
The child has to pedal along
The child cannot pedal along

3. Good view of the child
With this three-wheel tandem, the child is always in front. This gives the child a good view of the road, the traffic and the surrounding. Because the parent or accompanying person is sitting behind the child, they also have a good view of the child itself. In addition, only the person behind can steer the tandem and is therefore in full control.
4. Easy entry through low step through
Besides the three wheels making it easy to get on, it is made even easier by the low step through for both front and rear passengers.

Do you want an e-bike tandem? Optionally, it is possible to equip the Kivo Plus three-wheel tandem with Van Raam pedal support. The pedal support has three individually adjustable assistance levels, a starting aid and the ability to cycle backwards.
