Options
For each Van Raam bicycle there are a lot of options available to configure the bike to your own specifications. Besides the basic options Van Raam also provides custom modifications.
The options available for your bike are classified per type bike. You can find these options in the pricelist of the bike of your choice. The price list of the Van Raam bicycles shows the costs of the accessories and which are available for that specific bicycle.
Banana saddle
The banana saddle is an elongated, narrow saddle with a curved shape. This type of saddle can help you stay seated better on your Van Raam special needs bike.
Adjusted suspension
A bicycle with suspension offers significantly more comfort than a bicycle without suspension, especially on bumpy or unpaved roads. Van Raam offers various types of adjusted suspension.
Wheelchair holder
For the Fun2Go and FunTrain it is possible to assemble a wheelchair holder. With this option you can take a wheelchair with you on a special carrier on the back of the bike.
Winch system
Effortlessly load and unload the wheelchair user onto the VeloPlus wheelchair bike using the winch system. The winch system is a convenient tool that assists with the tilting ramp.
Step up plate
For those facing difficulty stepping onto a traditional tricycle, the step up plate is an option that can make this process easier.
Spoke protectors
The spoke protectors option prevents objects, like loose clothing or fingertips, from entering between the bike spokes, ensuring safe use with wheel discs in the wheels.
Walker holder preparation
When you use a walker, the walker holder preparation is an option. You can take your walker with you on your bike. This option is a bracket on which the walker holder can be mounted.
Studded tyres
You can choose studded tyres for your Van Raam Easy Rider tricycle. These tires have extra tread, providing excellent grip from the beginning to the end of your ride.
Bicycle covers
To protect your bicycle from weather conditions, it is possible to purchase a bicycle cover for the Easy Rider tricycle or Fun2Go duo bike. The cover fits over all available seats.
Floating pedal
The floating pedal, or stationary crank, helps when one side has a blocked knee or hip, preventing bending. An adjustment is made to the frame so that you can cycle with one leg.
Bike leg cover
The bike leg cover keeps the passenger warm during the bicycle ride. The bike leg cover can be unzipped and features anti-slip at the feet and velvet on the back to prevent slipping.
Platform pedal
Platform pedals provide extra foot support and grip for cycling. Suitable for adults and those with custom footwear, they're individually adjustable and can be retrofitted.
