Options
For each Van Raam bicycle there are a lot of options available to configure the bike to your own specifications. Besides the basic options Van Raam also provides custom modifications.
The options available for your bike are classified per type bike. You can find these options in the pricelist of the bike of your choice. The price list of the Van Raam bicycles shows the costs of the accessories and which are available for that specific bicycle.
Flat Puch saddle
The flat Puch saddle is a thick model saddle. The saddle has a raised backside, so that you can sit stably on the saddle. It offers enhanced suspension and greater comfort for your ride.
Ergogel saddle
Take a comfortable seat on the ergogel saddle for your special needs bike. The Selle Royal Drifter saddle has perfect water resistance and is comfortable because of the gel saddle filling.
Eccentric crank
An eccentric crank can help individuals with limited knee and/or hip mobility by reducing the required knee movement/bend compared to the unaffected side.
Crank shortener
If the leg-to-pedal length ratio leads to an improper cycling position, a crank shortener can help. It reduces the distance and your pedaling motion during cycling.
English model
For countries where you have to drive on the left, Van Raam has the 'English model' option. Elements such as the rear light are mounted to the right side.
Pedal extenders
Van Raam offers two sizes of pedal extenders in its assortment: 2 and 4 cm. A pedal extender can be a solution in cases of adapted footwear or a deviant foot position.
Adapted frame height
All Van Raam bicycles come with a standard frame height, but if you prefer a frame that is lower or higher than the standard, you can request one for an additional fee.
Divisible frame
A detachable or divisible frame can be a useful addition to a Van Raam special needs bike. The advantage is that the bike becomes more compact, making it easier to transport.
Double battery switch
When choosing a double battery pack for your e-bike, consider a convenient double battery switch. It lets you seamlessly switch between batteries when one is empty.
Walker holder preparation
When you use a walker, the walker holder preparation is an option. You can take your walker with you on your bike. This option is a bracket on which the walker holder can be mounted.
Floating pedal
The floating pedal, or stationary crank, helps when one side has a blocked knee or hip, preventing bending. An adjustment is made to the frame so that you can cycle with one leg.
Platform pedal
Platform pedals provide extra foot support and grip for cycling. Suitable for adults and those with custom footwear, they're individually adjustable and can be retrofitted.
