Options
For each Van Raam bicycle there are a lot of options available to configure the bike to your own specifications. Besides the basic options Van Raam also provides custom modifications.
The options available for your bike are classified per type bike. You can find these options in the pricelist of the bike of your choice. The price list of the Van Raam bicycles shows the costs of the accessories and which are available for that specific bicycle.
Pedal assist
Van Raam has its own electrical pedal support; the Silent System. The motor, battery, controller, smart display and software are developed especially for special needs bikes.
Mirror
For extra safety while cycling, a mirror can be mounted on the handlebars. With a mirror, you can easily look behind you without turning your head or upper body.
Foot fixation
With many Van Raam bicycles it is possible to mount foot fixation on one or more pedals. This provides you with more stability and security while cycling.
SmartGuard tyre
With a SmartGuard tyre, it is (when used correctly) nearly impossible to get a flat tire. An additional layer in the tire provides protection against punctures.
Stick holder
Do you use a walking stick or crutches? With the double stick holder for Van Raam's special needs bikes, you can easily take them with you during a bike ride.
Speedometer
Would you like to see how fast you are cycling and/or how many kilometres you have travelled while cycling? This is possible with the Union speedometer.
Extra battery pack Slim
With an extra battery pack Slim, you can cover more kilometres with your electric Van Raam bike than with one battery. The extra battery Slim is mounted on the other side of the carrier.
Colour on request
Each Van Raam bike has its own standard colour. We can also powder coat the bikes in a RAL colour on request. This way it is possible to personalize your bike.
Backrest support
The backrest support provides extra support when sitting on a Van Raam bicycle. It doesn't come with a belt; this can be ordered separately. The option is adjustable in height and depth.
Direction indicator
You can add direction indicators (blinkers) to many Van Raam bicycles, enhancing visibility and safety, especially if signaling with your hand is difficult or when riding in low-light conditions.
Flat Puch saddle
The flat Puch saddle is a thick model saddle. The saddle has a raised backside, so that you can sit stably on the saddle. It offers enhanced suspension and greater comfort for your ride.
Ergogel saddle
Take a comfortable seat on the ergogel saddle for your special needs bike. The Selle Royal Drifter saddle has perfect water resistance and is comfortable because of the gel saddle filling.
