Climbing the Mont Ventoux in France on a Van Raam tricycle

Ruud Jansen, from Nijmegen climbed the Mont Ventoux on his Van Raam Easy Rider Small tricycle on September 7, 2018. Ruud has two muscle diseases which cause his muscles to slowly deteriorate and he can no longer cycle on a two-wheel bike. He participated in Ventoux3, an event that collects money for research into brain tumors.

Trailer to transport a special needs bike

With your special needs bike you can make a bike ride in your own area. Sometimes you also want to cycle in a different environment or other country, which is too far to cycle. With a custom trailer or roof-top carrier for special needs bicycles, mounted on your car, you can take your bike with you. At Van Raam we do not have trailers or roof-top carriers in our assortment. We do know some suppliers where you can purchase these trailers. You can find these in our article.
