Van Raam bicycles are made in the Netherlands, in Varsseveld to be precise. However, the special needs bikes are available all over the world. The bikes are sold via Van Raam dealers and are not available directly at Van Raam. One of these dealers is Mobility ehf, this dealer is located in Iceland and regularly shares photos and videos of Van Raam bicycles in Iceland on Facebook. Icelandic dealer Mobility.is
Mobility.is run by Ozon ehf, a family business founded in 1985. Ozon ehf specializes in import, wholesale and retail. In 2019 the webshop Hjólastólar.is was founded, here were all kinds of medical aids available with an emphasis on wheelchairs and special needs bicycles. In March 2020 this name was changed to Mobility.is, because they want to put more emphasis on other aids instead of wheelchairs. This international name was chosen because Mobility.is also gets a lot of questions from people who don't speak Icelandic, like tourists.

On our website you can find a lot of information about our special needs bikes. But if you want to know which Van Raam bike suits you the most, we always recommend to do a test ride. In addition to our new, modern factory and showroom with Van Raam bicycles in Varsseveld (the Netherlands), we have now also opened a Van Raam showroom / experience center in Germany. From March the 4th, 2019, it is possible to make an appointment at 'Van Raam Beratungszentrum Deutschland-Süd', the German Van Raam showroom in Treuchtlingen, in the South of Germany. Here it is possible to take a test ride free of charge on a Van Raam bicycle and to get advice about an adapted Van Raam bicycle.
Wheelchair bicycle taxi service in Finland
Jimmy Gustafson has a wheelchair taxi service in the town of Porvoo, Finland. With the Van Raam VeloPlus wheelchair transport bike they cycle 5 days a week from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. and they transport 4 to 8 people on a day, these are mainly elderly people.
