Renting a wheelchair bike from Van Raam presents a great opportunity, especially for a cycling holiday for families and groups of friends. This way you can enjoy a beautiful bike ride together through the stunning surroundings where the holiday parks of Landal GreenParks are located. Perfect for a fun (cycling) holiday! You are more flexible with a bike compared to a car for example, and you can easily reach the beautiful spots and villages in the area.
In this way, you can enjoy a relaxing vacation and unwind in the nature. Whether you are heading for a city tour, exploring the dunes or cycling through the hills of Limburg, the VeloPlus allows wheelchair users to join as well.
Of course, the rest of the family or friends can also rent a bike, there are also standard bikes, electric bikes and bikes for children available for rent. Please refer to the website of Landal GreenParks for more information about bike rental at the parks. You can rent bikes through the Landal App or during your stay at the park.
Adapted holiday
Landal GreenParks and Roompot also offer various adapted holiday accommodations that are accessible to people with disabilities such as wheelchair users, walkers or mobility scooter users. With the VeloPlus wheelchair bike, Landal GreenParks provides wheelchair users the opportunity to cycle together with a companion.
VeloPlus wheelchair bike
The VeloPlus by Van Raam is designed to transport individuals by bicycle, who remain seated in their own wheelchair. This is possible because the wheelchair can be placed entirely on the bike’s platform. It is then securely fastened with the wheelchair lock. The VeloPlus wheelchair bike is stable, safe and easy to use. The steerable wheels provide a short turning radius, and the bike has a tiltable platform to easily place the wheelchair onto the bike.
