New design for the Maxi and Midi tricycles

Van Raam
Some parts of the traditional Van Raam tricycles Maxi and Midi are renewed since march 2021. Multiple parts have a new fresh color. This gives the tricycles a modern look. Read more about the innovations
Modernized look
Both tricycles have got a different color front fork. The front fork of the Maxi is black instead of silver, the front fork of the Midi is now light grey. The color of the front fork corresponds with the color of the stickers creates a modern appearance. The stickers are also renewed and have a different font. The font corresponds with the Van Raam-logo and looks fresher and more modern.
Front brake cables in accent color
The front brake cables of both tricycles have been given a modern accent color. The front brake cable of the Maxi is light blue and of the Midi white. These colors come back in the renewed sticker emblems on the bikes.
Renewed chain cases for the Maxi and Midi
The chain cases of the renewed Maxi and Midi tricycles are since march 2021 injection molded instead of vacuum-formed. This injection molded material is strong and discolors less fast. In addition the design of the chain case is adjusted. The new black color creates a modern appearance. The fenders are also adjusted into this color. “You see in the bicycle industry that as much bicycle components as possible are black. We want that also in the future”, explains Ruben Blauw of the Research and Development department at Van Raam.
New default colors for the tricycles
Van Raam bikes have different colors. Each bike has it’s own standard color and two optional colors. The colors of the Maxi and Midi tricycles are recently renewed. The default color of the Midi is violet blue matt (RAL 5000) and of the Maxi is blue grey matt (RAL 7031). Read more about the ‘Default colors for Van Raam bicycles’.
