Spanish Van Raam Premium Dealer TRICIMad was founded in 2019 by Marco Faenza. Marco answers a few questions so you can get to know TRICIMad better and also learn what makes the company unique.

1. Why did TRICIMad become a Van Raam Premium Dealer?

My start with Van Raam was via a friend (Rudy Jordan, Van Raam Premium Dealer from Austria) who told me about the special needs bikes and when I saw them and tried them, I immediately loved them. So we organized a visit to Van Raam, and seeing the factory and all the production process, Guiding by Huub and then to the meeting with Ronald, I was 100% sure that it is simply perfect for me and for Spain.

TRICIMad now travels through Spain, visiting foundations, schools and institutions, organizing demos of the Van Raam bikes and personally delivering those that are sold.

2. How do you help customers who are looking for a Van Raam bicycle?

Test ride

Test rides and bike demos can be done by phone, by appointment, in the store, events, anywhere, many times when I deliver a bike to a customer in another province I take other bikes so that customers can test them near their house.Accessories can be installed to improve the test experience, such as foot fixation (fix 20 or fix 25), crank shorteners, 4 and 5 point seat belts, use of the app etc.

Purchasing

The process from the test ride to the sale in most cases is like this:

  1. Making a test ride

  2. Presentation of the final offer with the appropriate configuration

  3. Financing process

  4. Once the loan is approved, ask Van Raam for the bike if I don't have it in stock.

When the bike arrives, I personally check whether the delivery of the bike was successful. I teach the customer and explain more about his new bike. Then it’s a happy ending and the beginning of a new story.

3. How does TRICIMad help customers who already have a Van Raam bicycle?

Maintenance, guarantee, recommendations, invitations to events, and get them in contact with other Van Raam users in their area.

4. What is your best experience of a customer with a Van Raam bicycle?

The greatest experience was the joy of a child with cerebral palsy who got on a bicycle for the first time in his life (OPair). His joy was very moving.

We do not sell only special needs bikes, it is freedom and emotions for each customer with their new Van Raam bike.

What makes us unique as a Premium Dealer? Well, very simple, empathy with our clients, understand what their needs are, assist them and offer options for the special needs bikes, such as financing aid, subsidies and donations from other institutions.
