Van Raam has 2 recumbent tricycles in the assortment; the Easy Sport and Easy Sport Small. Both bikes are very similar, yet there are a few important differences. Discover them in this article.
Van Raam recumbent tricycles
The Van Raam Easy Sport and Easy Sport Small are recumbent tricycles with under-seat steering. This handlebar reduces the strain on your back, neck, shoulders and wrists. Both bikes have a unique frame with suspension and a low step trough. This ensures perfect riding comfort during (sporty) bike tours.
Besides the many similarities, the recumbent tricycles also differ on a number of points. In this article with video, we list them for you.

1. Measurements
The Easy Sport Small is the smaller version of the Easy Sport recumbent tricycle. The Easy Sport Small is therefore suitable for children and small adults. Persons with an inner leg length of approximately 47 cm to 73 cm fit on the Easy Sport Small. This roughly corresponds to a body height of about 132 cm to 150 cm.
The Easy Sport is suitable for persons with an inner leg length of approximately 65 to 105 cm. This corresponds approximately to a body height of approximately 155 cm to 182 cm (adjustable to 204 cm).
The measurements of the Easy Sport Small are therefore smaller than those of the Easy Sport. The maximum length of the Easy Sport Small is 191 cm and the width is 77 cm. The Easy Sport is between 195-225 cm long thanks to its adjustable frame. The maximum width of the Easy Sport is 80 cm.
2. Wheel sizes
The wheels of the Easy Sport Small are 16 inches, those of the Easy Sport 20 inches.
3. Seat
Both the Easy Sport Small and Easy Sport recumbent tricycle are equipped with a seat with backrest. However, the seat of the Easy Sport Small is one size smaller (size M), than that of the Easy Sport (size L).

Electric recumbent tricycle
Both the Easy Sport and Easy Sport Small can optionally be equipped as an electric recumbent tricycle. The bikes are equipped with the Silent system of Van Raam. The motor housing, batteries, controller, software and Smart display are specially developed by us for our adapted bikes.
