The seat of the Van Raam Easy Rider Compact tricycle is adjustable. Adjusting the seat can make a big difference in terms of comfort and ergonomics while cycling. Read and watch here how you can adjust the seat and seat depth yourself.
When you receive an Easy Rider Compact, the Van Raam dealer will adjust the seat for you. If you want to adjust the seat and seat depth afterwards, you can follow the steps in this article and the video below.
The seat is stepless adjustable over a diagonal range of 150 mm. To adjust the seat:
1. Open the two quick release levers [A].
2. Slide the seat to the correct position.
3. Close the two quick-release levers [A].
Caution! Make sure that both quick-release levers are firmly clamped in place at all times and have the correct tension to ensure they are properly clamped in place.
It is important that the seat is clamped firmly to the frame. To ensure that the quick-release levers are clamped in place with the correct force, follow these steps:
1.Open the quick-release lever [A].
2. Turn the bolt [B] of the quick-release lever hand-tight.
3. Close the quick-release lever [C].
4. Repeat the above steps for the other quick-release lever [D].
The seating area of the seat can be adjusted to tailor the seat to the user's comfort. To adjust the seat, follow these steps:
1. Remove the seat cushion [A] from the seat frame.
2. Now that the seat cushion has been removed, the seat frame can be adjusted in relation to the backrest.
3. To do this, loosen the 4 socket-head screws [B] a few turns
4. Slide the seat frame forwards or backwards.
5. Tighten the 4 socket-head screws [B].
6. Position the seat cushion by first sliding the front edge over the seat frame. Then press the 4 snap caps [C] into the holes.
