Karin - Team lead content creation
Hello, I’m Karin Geesink-Stegeman, and I started working at Van Raam as a content marketing specialist in January 2021. In the Marketing & Communication department, we work with a young team of around 14 people. Everyone has their own area of expertise. One colleague is responsible for videos, and another colleague focuses on our in-house style. As a team, we support each other wherever possible and work together toward one common goal: making people happy by helping them stay mobile.
In 2025, I became the team lead of the Content Creation team. We are responsible for all content created for the website, print media, mailings, and more. This includes texts, photos, and videos.
Because that’s exactly what we do with Van Raam’s adapted bicycles: we give people who can no longer ride a traditional two-wheeler the feeling of wind in their hair again. And that brings us so much joy.
Although Van Raam has grown significantly in recent years, the atmosphere is still informal. Everyone is easily approachable – from the cleaning staff to the management. At my previous job, I missed having a warm connection with my colleagues, but that’s not the case at Van Raam. There are regular outings, or the department organizes something on its own. In short, I’m very happy to be working at Van Raam.
